Guest guest
Chelle, the epidural is exactly the same thing except you can still walk around – you won’t feel numb or anything. It is given in the spine, not in the butt. Dr. Conway wanted to put me in the hospital for a three day epidural at one time before I had my surgery. His thought behind this was that it would break the pain signals and give me a rest. nne From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of Chelle Sent: Monday, February 11, 2008 10:17 AM To: vulvardisorders Subject: Caudal Epidual blocks... I'm set to have an Epidural this Friday and wonder if anyone has had them for pain. I've had them for labor and delivery with my kids, but wondered if they are any different when given for pain? I wish I could continue flying to NH...but right now it's just too expensive. Hugs, Chelle
Guest guest
Thanks, nne. It may not work, but I'm gonna ask if Dr. B. can at least give me a little bit of numbing meds with it too. It's like if we're gonna do the blocks...I at least want to be numb for a little while... Hugs, Chelle
