Guest guest
anyone suffering from vulvodynia or pain in the female area needs to rule out Lymes disease via clinical sympotms diagnosis or by testing through a lyme lab.....I had this horrible pain nonstop for 18 months, CONSTANTLY to NO avail, and I am sucessfully still painfree since being treated back in late 2006. I understand the emotional and physical aspects so well, and I am not trying to advise someone of something not realevent. A life of sexual pain is horrible and unjust for husband and wife, not to mention family and friends.. I am happy to anounce I am due with my second baby in one month.... SOMETHING I NEVER COULD HAVE DONE without being diagosed and treated. SEX was NOT POSSIBLE, even sitting or wearing pants was NOT GONNA HAPPEN. I tell you this , ONLY BECAUSE THERE IS HOPE !!! as I could not tolerate ANY TYPE of contact.... please give it a chance... My doctor has referred many people to me for support who ended up with the same vuvlar pain label, in all to turn out to be lymes diagnosis.... its a nerve affecting disease by pathogenic/bacterial nature, and will really cause severe issues if not treated. I am available to help answer any questions by direct email cause I dont have much time to read each forum post. BUT THANKS TO THIS FORUM ETERNALLY DEE!! It was my lifeline for many MANY MONTHS and I think of you all OFTEN). shami86@... > > : > > Thank you for sharing your sad story. Guest guest
I have Lyme and am pretty sure I've had it since I was 12 or 13 years old. I took tons of antibiotics last year (I had been sworn off of them for many years because I had suffered a severe candida issue). I halfway regret taking the antibiotics. They didn't take my pain away and have really messed up my GI tract. I like to think that they helped me get rid of any lingering bacterial issues, but I don't know for sure. At this point I think it's perhaps that Lyme messes up so many things-- hormonally, neurologically, etc. that it's not necessarily the bacteria itself that is causing symptoms but the effect they have on the body. Maybe if it's caught early it's simply the bacteria, but in my case my hypothalmic-pituitary-axix (HPA) is super messed up. And I think for me this is where my issues are coming from. Just some thoughts. > > , > Can you please explain to everyone what your treatment for your Lyme disease > was. > I was tested a few years ago but it was negative. > thanks > susan > > > > **************The year's hottest artists on the red carpet at the Grammy > Awards.
