Guest guest
, My podiatrist is wanting me to use orthotics as well. He said something about doing something to straighten out the left side while trying to help the shortened right leg I have. I will have to ask for more specifics when I talk to him in 2 weeks. As for the article, yes, I will go and get the link for you in addition to some of the others that were posted on another list I'm on. I have to tell you though that it was very surprising when I read that article. My mouth about dropped open when I read that. It's all starting to make some sense. On your orthotics, can you wear most shoes with them? I wish my shortness of my right leg would be such that my podiatrist (and this is only after 1 meeting) wasn't concerned. My Pain Management doctor said that the pain I have on the left would have something to do with the fact that my right leg is short, especially within the hip area but the strange thing is that I didn't feel any actual hip pain til last month after my rheumatologist touched the area when I asked about SI (sacroilliac) joint issues. And then it quieted down until it got touched when I had a bone density scan done almost 3 weeks ago and hurt for a few seconds as a result of the touch. But before that hip pain that lasted a month I was feeling pain in another part of my pubic area (which ties in with the nerve issue) and when I asked the rheumatologist about it he mentioned about the bone there that connects to the hip. So now I'm wondering if some of this pubic pain may be the kind of pain that the podiatrist was concerned about when he said " you will " about the issue of having pain when I told him no pain because of the shortened leg.
