When

I spoke with Dr Quesada yesterday at my appointment we were discussing the

lecture he is giving for PT’s and any other professionals that would be

interested in the pudendal nerve and other vulvar conditions. and Liz

are flying in from California to lecture with them also He said that he

hopes it will happen because as of yet they don’t have enough attendees registered,

I would encourage all of you to who take physical therapy to mention it and see

if their therapist would be interested in attending. I know that probably the

cost to fly to New Hampshire and overnight stay is prohibitive for some, but the

course is accredited and would be well worth their trip. Manchester has its own

airport and hotels are cheaper than in Boston and it is not until the end of

March so good tickets would still be available. If anyone wants more

information, please let me know and I will repost it. By having our physical

therapists attend these type of lectures is the only way we will get the good medical

treatment we deserve. There are so many states, especially in the Midwest (except

for Rhonda) and the southern states where there are not many physical

therapists that can do pelvic work. Or want to either, as it takes a special

type of PT who wants to do internal work. But there are women who are suffering

and with good physical therapy they might get well.

Thanks Kristy. I have my appointment today and will

see what Dr. Quesada thinks. He really is one of the nicest doctors i've

ever met, although considerings he's a pain management specialist, I guess he

is more compassionate and truly wants to help than some others. I'll let

you know how it goes. And the chiropractor thing is really a good

idea. I'll have to see if I can find a female one- maybe that would make

me feel a little less nervous to mention any " female issues " .
