Please read this article and comment or write letters to the editor (there is a link up at the top of the comment page). It's great that we are getting more coverage on this topic, but they are all still missing lots of information. Not only do these conditions cause painful sex, they cause a painful life and people need to know that sex is not the only problem. Additionally, muscular issues are not the only cause and attention needs to be given to the other causes as well. There are some great comments, but there are also some ignorant ones, especially by a man who claims that all the women he's been with has this condition because everytime he has sex with them it's too painful because of the size of him....how ridiculous is that?! People need to know that has nothing to do with it and the problem is so much more complicated, unknown, and greatly under-researched. millburytimes
