Thanks for making all those observations , as that is exactly

what I thought also. I could have written volumes … You are so right on

the mistakes, and the information that was missing. And although sex is

important, it is not just a sexual condition. And what about us post menopausal

women. I never had it my whole life until I turned 63. I just wish we could do

more. The NVA tries I guess, but it is still not enough.

Did you get your appointment with Dr. ? I hope so because

her phone is going to be ringing off the wall when women see her name in the

article. The same with Raquel. She is already booking three months ahead and I

am sure it will be a lot more after this article is seen.

I see Raquel tomorrow for PT and I am going to ask who started

this article. Was it Raquel who went to the press or was it Dr. because

her business is falling off. Someone had to start this information being sent

to the TV station, and I would have thought Dr. would have gotten her

information correct.

I got my appointment with Dr. Boardman. I only had to wait seven

weeks. They were so pleasant on the phone, and Dr. Conway’s office was so

nice to do it immediately and filled out the forms and faxed them the same day

to Dr. Boardman, even though Dr. Conway was on vacation until March 3rd.

Why can’t all doctor’s office be so kind and pleasant.

Please read this article and comment or write letters to the

editor (there is a link up at the top of the comment page). It's great

that we are getting more coverage on this topic, but they are all still missing

lots of information. Not only do these conditions cause painful sex, they

cause a painful life and people need to know that sex is not the only

problem. Additionally, muscular issues are not the only cause and

attention needs to be given to the other causes as well. There are some

great comments, but there are also some ignorant ones, especially by a man who

claims that all the women he's been with has this condition because everytime

he has sex with them it's too painful because of the size of him....how

ridiculous is that?! People need to know that has nothing to do with it

and the problem is so much more complicated, unknown, and greatly

under-researched.

This information

that was published today on the ABC website. Please read it and write to them

as many comments as you wish. If ABC feels the article touched many women'

lives they will eventually make a TV program devoted to " Pelvic Pain " .

nne, While it stinks that they only focused on women being unable to have sex, it is at least getting the word out- until that happens there won't be any progress. And I am curious too about who started this and agree with you that I hope it wasn't Dr. because the information and focus does not seem like something she would give (hopefully). I have not gotten my appointment with stewart yet- they are supposed to be calling me back either this week or next once she looks over my records, but they do have all my stuff. I am going to call Boardman's office again today to see if they got my records from Conway. I was waiting to call back since he's on vacation, but since you said they were able to still get them then i'm going to try again. millburytimes wrote: Thanks for making all those observations , as that is exactly what I thought also. --- I doubt that 's practice started the article, but can't be

sure. Every time I'm there they are telling me how busy they are and

how they're booking way out and can't see everyone they need to.
