Guest guest
Welcome KS. . . .it is a very tough spot and I have no words of wisdom except that knowledge is power and the more you understand of what it means to be a child of a BPD parent the more you understand why you do the things you do. I can honestly say that ALL of my bad traits and downfalls are due to my upbringing of a Queen BPD mother and a NPD Schizoid father. My brother has very similar relationship issues to yours and I would highly suggest therapy to work through those issues but you should find someone that has experience with BPD and understands how to deal with adult children of BPD people – since it is a really damaging situation for people to be raised in that environment. I look forward to hearing about your journey and wish you the best as you take new steps forward in discovering yourself.
