You sure have got that right! NO ONE wants to talk about chronic

pain pelvic or pain otherwise – even doctors. My friends or neighbors don’t

ask, they completely avoid the subject. The only one who consistently asks me

how I am is my mailman! And that is because his wife suffers from it also. We

are a group that only has each other for support.

And even worse if you have chronic pain and take narcotics. I

have a wonderful caring pain management doctor, but even with the careful supervision

he gives me, when I went to my primary care doctor for my yearly checkup and

she saw that another doctor had prescribed me narcotics – instead of

saying – oh I hope they are helping you – she had the audacity to

say – you know what happened to Ledger …

The problem is, the women that do not have chronic pelvic pain do

not want to read about it nor do men.

I told my friends a few years back and they NEVER ask about it.

They were dumbfounded and did not want to talk about it when I told them. They

still do not ask about it.
