Guest guest
Hi nne, No Dr Moldwin is not in Pa, he is in NY. His article was very interesting to me and I am certain that is what I am dealing with Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. I don't think that I have an entrapement with my PN, I think my PFM are irritating the nerve though and that is causing my urinary symptoms. I too find great relief almost instantly with the ativan. Infact, I am taking one tonite, but probably won't take another for atleast another week. I had taken ativan in the past though for anxiety after all this started and just coincidentally found out that it really helps this pain! I had taken about .5 every other day a few months ago and had no problems tapering off, but I wouldn't want to take something every nite because that would become to habit forming Im afraid. If any one has any comments amount Dr Moldwin, please let me know. With limited time off and financially strapped, I want to try to narrow my choices down and this seems like a pretty good candidate considering my symptoms. CIt's Tax Time! Guest guest
Is he in your area Carolyn? If you are experiencing some of the symptoms he was talking about it might be worth your time going to see him. I don’t think you ever know about a doctor until you meet him in person. So much is physical and mental chemistry. I went to a doctor who was chief of staff of the neurology department of a large hospital. His waiting room was filled with awards and helmets from football players that he had cured. But he was a jerk – refused to even listen to me. Didn’t care what symptoms I had. He would not even give me a diagnosis. This was when I was first starting out two years ago and thought every doctor knew what they were talking about. He immediately said I needed a spinal injection, so I took him at his word. When I went the morning of the injection he had gurneys lined up and down in rows in the surgical room. He just went down the line giving spinal injections. He didn’t even acknowledge me – just gave me a paper to come back for a follow up appointment. The injection did not help and made my pain worse and I never went back. This was one of the thirteen doctors I went to before I found Dr. Conway. About half of them were jerks, the other half did not have a clue of what was the matter with me and that included the doctors that were jerks. So even though it takes a lot of time to see all different doctors, you sure get to know them and you are able to judge better the more doctors that you see. And I won’t go and see a doctor that doesn’t take insurance – I guess I would if I was desperate, but I would have to have a lot of proof that this doctor could help me. So far I have been pretty lucky with insurance; I only have one – my pain management doctor who I see regularly that is out of network. (I have to pay 30%). nne From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of Carolyn52192@...
