Hi, I'm sorry it's back. As far as diets, the low oxalate diet didn't help me, but instead the anti-yeast diet did. I would recommend trying that. It means no caffeine (tea, coffee, soda or chocolate), no yeast breads or sugars and no alcohol. May sound tough, but it has been worth it to me. I've been on it since last Summer, except for a especial event, such as birthday cake. But I usually pay the consequences with a flare up if eat what I'm not supposed to eat. Good luck. hgz wrote: As far as a natural lubricant goes, i would highly recommend Firefly and the Sensua line. Or virgin organic coconut oil. Hollis On Wed, Mar 12,

My doctors had me try estrogen cream, hydrocortisone, a few courses of clindomycin, and eventually tricyclic antidepressants. I also tried lidocaine. I have to say that none of them cleared up my symptoms

and in fact, the hormones really affected my mood and had other side effects (sweating, difficulty sleeping, etc.). The tricyclics also had negative effects (again, lack of sleep, suppression of appetite). Lidocaine sort of helped but then it would wear off or it would be too strong and orgasm would be impossible. I ended up getting pregnant (despite the painful intercourse ;) ) a year ago November and noticed that my symptoms subsided after my baby was born in August. However, they seem to be coming back and intercourse is again too painful to try. I am weary of trying all these chemical treatments again (and I am still breastfeeding) and was wondering if anyone had natural alternatives? Does the low oxalate diet work? Is there a natural lubricant that anyone recommends? Thanks! Deb
