Guest guest
Let me first acknowledge Chelle and the other moderators of this discussion forum. You work tirelessly to be an encouragement for us. Many thanks. Just wondered if any of you have been moved to change careers over being diagnosed with one of the Vulvar disorders? Or in what other ways have you taken this and used it for good? I'm so proud of my wife (I love you hon!) for using her diagnosis as inspiration for a new career. She's currently a Cardio-vascular ICU RN and now plans to return for graduate studies in women's health. Her goal is to reach out to the under served population of women who suffer from Vulvar disorders.
Guest guest
, I'm not one of the moderators but as one of the members who have lived with vulvodynia I use it as an opportunity (when it arises) to make others aware of it. I also hope to use that to my advantage to help other women when I finally find a job because I want to work as a Medical Secretary for an OB/GYN office. It just hasn't been very easy to find a job. Guest guest
I have thought about becoming a nutritionist or natural health specialist. I have learned so much about how diet affects health. I would love to be able to help teach people about healthy eating. BlueeberriCreate a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home. Guest guest
I went into private practice as a psychotherapist because I could have more control over my working environment and the hours I worked. I also took additional training to work with people with chronic pain. Many of my clients have things like fibro, RSD, or rheumatoid arthritis.
