My mom recently told me she's had it since 2000 and her sister has had it since twenty years ago. Now, I'm faced with the painful decision as to whether or not to tell my 26 year old daughter. She is disease free and happy. She hasn't a clue about me. My daughter lives in ottawa, ont. canada . Hi Sue, and welcome to the group! Several of the members on this group are also on Dee's group for the Lichen conditions. Vulvar pain does suck - ugh! But hang in there...and don't give up hope! As for your daughter, if it were me, I would want to know. That way, if she develops any symptoms - she will know exactly what it is and could hopefully get help asap. I am so sorry you are going through this...but please know you are not alone. You will learn so much on these groups! Hugs, Chelle
Guest guest
Sue, Your daughter needs to know. I wish I had known about these things..I caught mine too late and lost a lot of valuable treatment time. I am from Maine and live in Mass. now...I know a lot of NE resources. Let me know if you want some help - there is a good PT place in Portland. From what I've heard, most Mainers are coming to Mass. for treatment though.
