Guest guest
I also live in Washington (Western) and although yes there are a lot of days that don't get *a lot of sun * (but a lot of RAIN lol) there IS sun every day I am sure that *they* mean NO SUN as in FAR north as in Alaska or some parts were a person just doesn't really see ANY sun AT ALL for months and months. I really don't think that Washington counts as a *no sun type of state* so don't worry even if it is a bit overcast it is still sunshine. HTH Rhonda (Mom to five girls that have all lived in Washington and have gotten PLENTY of sun, vitamin D) In a message dated 12/15/00 7:05:52 PM Pacific Standard Time, rmmhenne@... writes: > I live in Seattle and we go for weeks with no sun. Guest guest
Vitamin D is recommended for babies that are in the far north of Canada. In Seattle you may not see sun but you get UV rays through the clouds. It just has to be light. It isn't really as bad an epidemic of rickets as they say. It usually is in babies that never leave the house, often because of religious limitations of the mother. Guest guest
, You need to be somewhere with little to no sunlight before it becomes an issue that sun exposure alone is not enough.
