Guest guest
Hi Ivy: What antibiotic are you taking? I get Group B Strep Infections and it itches. It is the only infection that I've had (and I get a lot of them) that itches. Group B Strep is very susceptible to Pennicillan. (which I am allergic to). They often don't mention that you have Group B Strep because it normally lives in your body. It is only serious if you want to have a baby. They told me because I kept complaining that I had something wrong. They also told me it didn't itch, but it did. Sherri --------- Re: Interesting Hi Ivy--Were you ever tested for cytolitic vaginosis? It is an overgrowth of lactobacilli and most docs don't ever test for it. It causes lots of itching. It's treated with antibiotics. However, congratulations!! You must be so relieved. > > Hey guys- > > Something interesting I thought I'd share with you and get your opinion on.. > > I've been on an antibiotic since last Thursday for a sinus infection. Guest guest
Hi : Did the boric acid work on your gbs? It didn't work on mine. I am also in a GBS support group and the horror stories are enough to make you cry. Unfortunately, not everyone lives in an area where the doctors are informed or like me are allergic to pennicillan. If I were young enough to get pregnant with my untreatable GBS, I would never do it. I'm not here to debate, but for some women having GBS and getting pregnant is a very big deal.
