Guest guest
Are you getting any treatment for the itching? There are meds you can try and also UV/B light treatments. Itching affects your life as much as pain does. It affects your "quality of life" and needs to be treated. Many caregivers don't understand the misery of the itch, but it is real and awful. Talk to your doc and if he doesn't recommend anything - demand treatment or find another doctor, even a dermatologist can help. I also recommend getting a good shower brush to scratch with. It does less damage to your skin and will reach those places that fingernails can't get. I also think it stimulates a lot more nerve endings at a time and scrambles the "itch" message for awhile.
