Guest guest
I want you to know that I can not exercise except for walking up and down the hall a little, I can NOT breath if I do, I get weak and out of breath very very quickly. My sats I keep up best I can, but sometimes if I carry something light even from one room to the other and set it down, I am SOB. I am old and crotchety. I have really gone way way down the past month or 2 with my ableness to breath without panicking. We went to store this morning and we had to change tanks in the middle of it. I hate that, everyone looks and I glare back. It doesn't bother me and it does get me out, but I do have to struggle with even wanting to go out, either only with Earl or my daughter . They are the only 2 who " get it " . I LOVE YOU THIS DAY AND ALWAYS MARY LOU IPF - 02 (AND HOLDING)
Guest guest
ML... have you used the scooters in the store yet??? I think I might give them a go pretty soon now. You may not need O2 if you are just riding or at least very little compared to having to change in the middle of shopping. I'm a lot like you, I get sob very quickly. Hang on . MamaSher, age 70. Guest guest
Sher/ML Sometimes the scooters are a good idea, especially if you're in a hurry or for a long trip. I have used them. When I'm in no hurry but also not got much shopping to do, I then don't use them. I've actually used a scooter in Wal-Mart and an hour later used the treadmill at home. I'm going to use my powerchair on Sunday at Best Buy. The are out of Wii's today but will have 16 on Sunday. The lines will form long before they open. So, I'm going to wait in line but do it very comfortably. While the others are standing or sitting on the pavement, I'll be relaxing in my comfortable chair. > > ML... have you used the scooters in the store yet???
