Guest guest
Hello, Dave, I read that there is about 11 percent difference between the whole blood and the plasma-referenced meters. As I am using a plasma-referenced meter and plan to use its successor when it is available, I simply want to avoid the inconvenience of switching back and forth. Yoou are right, the most important thing is the changes from one time of day to another or from day to day. I just don't want to do the calculations for a couple of months to know that the 72 MGDL I just got is like the 80 or 81 on my old meter, so no need to worry, or that the 120 on the whole-blood meter is not as innocent as it seems, so what did I eat?
