Guest guest Posted January 27, 2008 Report Share Posted January 27, 2008 Inititally I was diagnosed with Vestibulitis, Levator Ani Syndrome. I went to a urogynecologist and he suspected I could have IC and wanted to do a bladder distillation, I was hesitant to get this done. Finally, I was diagnosed with PN. I had very bad pain initially, that has subsided, the only thing I am left with is burning on occasion when I urinate and occasionally, I do get sharp jabbing pains in my vagina. My question is this: Can anyone recommend a doctor that may be able to definitely give me a proper diagnosis and also other than the following" pn, ic, urethral syndrome, is there anything else that would cause burning when one urinates? I have been tested several times for urinary tract infection and never have a positive result for one. Also, this burning is occasional, which makes me wonder why it is not happening all the time?
