Guest guest
No one can cure their child with Autism, however if we do our best to treat our kids early enough with faith and determination they can go much further then anyone expected. Just look at Tample Grandin, she only got this far because her mom believed in her and worked diligently. Also, if you read all those books and recounts besides the one from Mc Carthy, many kids can recover in these days and if they don't recover, at least they can become high functioning. 10 - 15 years ago an Autism diagnosis meant institutionalizing your child (Rainman)! So...Knowledge, Hardwork and Prayer means Power. In Maurices book (Let me hear your voice) once I read: "Work as if everything depends on you and pray as if everything depends on God!" Guest guest
I feel the same waySubject: Re: Profit & ABA therapyTo: sList Date: Friday, January 21, 2011, 7:53 PM I am not looking for a cure, just a better quality of life for my little guy. ABA along with a couple of other interventions is his best shot at an independant life, and my best shot at seeing my dreams for him come true. I would buy and sell just about anything to ensure that happens.
