She has chin hairs too. I just took her to get tested and of course the doctor said her hormones are FINE, but I know they are NOT. , there is no way around it, I react to Progesterone. I even wonder if taking the pill at an early age caused me to develop a sensitivity (or allergy) or something, to even my own progesterone now. I went on the pill early (age 17) due to Endo pain. Also, your daughter might have PCOS (Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome). It causes mid-section weight gain, Hypothyroidism is very common with it, acne, excess hair growth, insulin resistance, etc. Does she have elevated levels of Testosterone...and even if they are not elevated, does she have 'high' levels of "FREE" T? Just thought I'd throw this info out there... it could be something for you all to look into. It is the most common female Endocrine disorder. Guest guest
It sounds like your daughter could have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) - have they checked for this? The hairs, the acne, the weight, and the fatigue - it's literally like reading the symptom checklist. Melinda
