Guest guest
Holy cow! I use all Loreal products and some of them are a 10!! I was going to switch products anyway because they do animal testing but now I'm definitely switching!! Thanks for sharing this! Ivy -- Products and Diseases Web Site Interesting Skin Deep: Cosmetic Safety Database - Product Report http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/product.php?prod_id=97471 This is a really interesting site. It ranks products on their safety, 1-10. 1 being the safest. The lipstick I use ranked a 5!!!! It shows the diseases linked with certain chemicals and products. Guest guest
I just read an interesting article about the dangers of most cosmetics - the author also wrote this book called " Drop Dead Gorgeous " ...over the past few years I have weaned myself onto completely natural body products and cosmetics. I think it's totally worth it! Melinda
Guest guest
Yeah, it's hard to find cosmetics that are good, non-toxic and match your skin tone. I also don't use many products that do animal testing so that's another thing. Most of the organic costmetics are so expensive it's ridiculous and there are so few of them. Hugs- Ivy -- Re: Products and Diseases Web Site Interesting Most of my cosmetics are Loreal too, it's the best, but it rated high on the toxic chart. I tried Burt's Bee's natural lipstick once and it sucked! See AOL's top rated recipes and easy ways to stay in shape for winter.

Guest guest
I use Clinique, I didn't catch that toxin chart. What did it rate Clinique at? > > Most of my cosmetics are Loreal too, it's the best, but it rated high on the > toxic chart. Guest guest
You have to do a lot of shopping around for good all-natural cosmetics. I like Burt's bees bath products but not cosmetics. Good cosmetics lines that I know of include Dr. Hauschka (sp?) and Suncoat Cosmetics. Yeah, the stuff is more expensive - but so are most things that aren't toxic and going to kill us someday=) Melinda
