We are trying to find a good program for a 5 year old little girl who is higher functioning then most of the children in her cluster. Any information would help greatly. Guest guest
The Cushman Academy is in Miami and is very expensive. Not near City at all. You may try Kentwood Academy. Why are they not mainstreaming her now if she is high functioning? Do you have an advocate? If not - call Family Network on Disabilities. They are a godsend. If someone should need us, by all means, please call me. However, due to budget constraints, there may be a waiting list.
