Guest guest
My husband (we're newlyweds) was diagnosed with PSC in Oct. of '03, and has been on a 1000mg/day dose of Urso since then. I've done some research into the archives and it seems that anything over 750mg but up to 2500 mg of Urso a day dose is considered high dose. What is the dose that we should advocate for with his Hep? I've been lurking on the board for the past couple of months without posting and you guys provide a wealth of information. Thank you so much for being here. Thanks so much for providing so much support and information. Just reading about people having similar experiences - on of 's family members in the past couple of years called him a " wus " for not having a whiskey with him - and all of the information you have sought out and share feels so empowering when often I just feel overwhelmed. BTW - I've seen posts in the archives where people asked if anyone with UC had been told they were allergic to milk. was diagnosed with UC when he was about 8 years old and was on aggressive steriods until his mid 20s. When he was 26, he was so thin and ill and the steroids weren't helping, and he began to see an MD/PhD who also is a holistic practicioner and pharmocologist. Dr. Zyblott did a run of allergy tests on and discovered that he had severe allergies to milk, beef, chicken and pork. changed his diet and has shown no signs of UC symptoms or on colonoscopies since he was about 29 or 30. It didn't keep away the PSC, but at least he doesn't feel miserable from UC as well. (in Texas) wife of PSC '03 > > Has anyone else discovered that their Rx plan changed for 2007?
