Guest guest
nne: Gosh, I'm sorry I don't know what issue it was but I think it was fairly current as I hadn't seen it in his office before. The article said make sure there is at least 1 Billion micororganisms. One of the products I use is NSI (Nutraceutical Sciences Institute) Probiotic 15-35. It has 15 different strains and 35 Billion Micororganisms. The other one is JarroDophilus EPS which has 8 different strains and 4.4 Billion organisms. Neither product has the same strains of Culturelle or FemDopholis! For a year and a half I took only the Jarrodopholus (2 - 3 per day) and I was OK. Then my sister told me about the NSI 15-30 and I bought that because I've been on ABX for so long and will be on for a while yet. I can only take 1 of those per day or I get constipated (I had to work up to one per day as I was getting constipated!) Then I added the Culturelle so I take one each of the Jarro-Dophilus and NSI 15-35 and 2 Culturelle (one in the a.m and one in the pm). I'll probably add the fem-dophilus 2 x per day, too as I am always on the verge of a yeast infection and I'm hoping I can take less Diflucan (3 x per week - I also take a liver detox and have my liver enzyes checked every couple months) Anyway the absolute cheapest online store I've ever used is called Vita Cost (vitacost.com) It always has the cheapest prices so I don't even shop around anymore. The shipping is 4.99 regardless of the order - Dummie me ordered on Monday and then found out about the FemDopholus so I put in another order yesterday! Fem-Dopholus and JarroDophilus are both made by " Jarrow Formulas " a very reputable company. I only took home one page of the article so I can't even share what they recommended for other issues. Maybe you can find a link on line by googling. I will see what I can find. Hugs Molly > > Molly, thank you very much for writing all this information on probiotics.
