Guest guest
HI - me again - I spoke to the wonderful lady below who is also emailing you in Denver - helped my decision to continue to pursue getting my son banded and same reasons re flying to arizona - I also went to neuro at children's hosptial and got no help re banding as they definately do not agree with it. Interested who your peditrician is at kaiser and which clinic you go to. I did not go through Kaiser to get my prescription i was going to go to Tammy's (email below) peditrician but then another mum i know of who's child was banded told me she had great peditrician at Lowry Pediatrics which is close to me so I went there and got my referral and do not go through my insurance at all. I was just very hm what's the word i'm look for " demanding " insisting i wanted prescription was not going to see any more doc's etc and they wrote the prescription then and there and I chose doc band. I figured I was paying out of pocket in any case so I would go somewhere that had more experience i guess in that they solely dealt with banding. My son was nearly 5mths when banded (he has brachy) i started to pursue this when he was 3mths old banding that is - but the flat head well i had been going back to kaiser from when he was 4 weeks old - got the same old lay him flat on his back he'll be fine - they made the problem worse. In fact was originally sleeping him side to side alternate sides in the rolls and the peditrician told me i needed to sleep him flat on his back at his 2 week appointment- i would love to send her the bill. Now the mum i know that used Greg at Children's hopsital who does the banding here her son started at 8mths - you could also ask the doc if he has anyone currently with their child in treatment you could speak directly to to get their views/satisfaction re treatment. > > > > > > > > > > Hi.
