Guest guest
Hi Tamilselvi! My daughter had torticollis which means one of her neck muscles was shorter than the other so therefore she was unable to turn her head to the left she could ONLY turn it to the right which in turn she developed the plagiocephaly. Torticollis is easily treatable by doing neck exercises. Is your son/daughter able to turn his/her head fully both ways? I think but I could be wrong but if your child has plag than he/she has torticollis, I believe they go hand in hand together. I hope this helps you some. Bobbi, mommy to Kaitlyn , 6 days until she is 1 Tort (resolved), plag-banded on 12-15-05 MichiganTamil Selvi <tamilselvim@...> wrote: Hi allI dont know torticollis.please explain.ThanksTamilselvi--- haylee204 <rascle204@...> wrote:> We had been told that facial and ear assymetries can> also be caused by > torticollis. Guest guest
Hi Bobbi....I just wanted to let you know that it would be more accurate to say that many tort babies will get plagio but not all plagio babies have tort. They don't go hand in hand in that manner. My plagio baby didn't have any tort at all. Just wanted to clarify. Becky , repo grad > > > > > > Hi. New to group.
