No, but I have been to 5 pharmacies plus WalMart and they either don't have

the test kit or it is out of date. Maybe that is why.

My pharmacy, Medco Health, reported back to me when I tried to

that it was no longer being manufacture. I went to Bristol-Myers

Squibb site, but was unable to find the A1c Home Test Kit.

Anyone know what happen?

Hi Kitty,

I feel better at 63 than I did in my early 40's. I had not been walking

much for the past 2 months because it has been cold. On warm days, I would

walk

about a mile. Today, my dog and I went for a 2 mile walk. When I got back

to the house, I could have turned around and walked 2 more miles. I still do

a lot of walking in the house, when I go shopping, etc but it is not like my

walk along the country road.

I'll admit I have gained about 4 lbs in the last 2 months, but this happens

every year. My weight goes up and down. Two weeks of nice weather that I

can get outside and walk and those extra lbs will be gone.

hugs

Eunice

Drew,

I bought a kit today at Osco Drug. $20, Choice by Bristol Myers. I was 5.3,

YAY!!!!!!!!! I go to the lab Monday for bloodwork, so we'll see how it matches

up.

I see the interninst Thurs and expect her to take me off the metformin. I only

have about 7 # left to lose and feel better at 59 than I did at 49, haha!

Maybe they didn't sell enough to make them a viable product?

Having insurance I would never purchase one... since an A1C is paid in full

through it.

(And they weren't cheap either).
