Hi May!

There was more info this morning in our newspapers. The man's son lived on their family property and the old man lurked and trepassed on the property and threatened the son and also carried a pistol. The son pursued a lawsuit against his dad (in 2006)for trespassing and threatening him bodily harm The son was planning to build a subdivision on the property and the old man didn't like it one bit. The old man intended to blow up the attorneys' office of his son. Something else not yet known by the public came about in the lawsuit and that probably did the old man in. This sistuation could have been a lot worse. The quick action of the police, who came within 3 minutes of being called averted a major tragedy. One of our friends was the officer who responded first to the scene and if he had walked a different way when getting out of his car, he would have been in the blast. What is our world coming to! I am glad that it wasn't gang activity or terriost activity. Most of the people who knew this individual thought him a little strange but never suspected that he would do anything like this. .

How are you doing thiese days, May? I am going to my dr appointment for the STEP Trial on Friday. Friday is the last day for me to take sildenafil and the STEP Trial will be over for me. Eddie & I are going to join the HIP Trial next.

Toodles!

Jane

Glad worse tragedy was averted. While we don't want to run around

paranoid, one thing everyone should recognize it that any violent act or

threat of violence is serious and can't be ignored. Domestic violence

escalates. Those who threaten to kill have it within them to try. Most

of us would never think of such a threat. While sometimes people do

suddenly snap, its rare, and most of the time there was previous reason

for concern.
