Guest guest
Dear Jenna,My son was studying at BADA in London when he knew something was seriously wrong. He was also 21.While he did not have jaundice, he had diarrhea six or more times a day and when he felt ill , was vomiting and got dizzy he went to a clinic. The clinic wanted to send him to the hospital but he didn't want to go in London. Since he was returning in a weeks time we made the appointment here in the states. We thought he had IBD.It turned out to be UC and then they found the PSC.It may be a waiting game, but make sure you know what to look for, when to get medical attention and to be proactive in your care. You can find a lot of information at our website and in our free newsletter.Just go to www.pscpartners.orgAsk your questions here. The folks are great.LeeHi All,I am new to this game, I was diagnosed with PSC just 1.5 months ago. I am apparently young to have it as I am only 21. I had been sick in the summer of 2006 with jaundice and they could not figure out what was wrong. Now I have been diagnosed and am just playing this waiting game.
