Improving Language & Social Skills through PRT - training at Angels Reach

Hello,Angels Reach will be sponsoring a workshop on Saturday, January 22nd at 2:00 PM on  Pivotal Response Treatment, which offers parents and professional caregivers of children with developmental delays an effective, researched based means to assist developing appropriate language and social interaction skills.

The techniques taught in this workshop by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst will support individuals who wish to personally develop more effective communication and interaction skills in the children they care for.Participants will learn:-About Pivotal Response Training (PRT), a teaching method based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).-How to target pivotal areas of a child's development, such as motivation, responsivity to multiple cues, self-manageent, and social initiations.

-How to use PRT methodology to teach language and social skills to their children with Autism and Related Disabilities in their home environment.-How to utilize underlying motivational strategies and incorporate them throughout intervention
