Guest guest
I have the same problem at the ER even though they know how close I came to death last year and how the hospital sent me home with a blood clot in my leg and a wound that had MRSA. Yeah, you gotta love those ER docs. mostly useless. I was just told by my doctors office who I am lucky ot have and make the now 3 hr trip q 3 mo's as they not only understand me, know me and not just on the surface, they treat for the disease, pain, and have great bedside manner! But they had to tell me that even though I was originaly prescribed my prilosec20 mg 4x a day, because my insurance has changed again I can only get it covered by dropping it down to x2 a day, I agreed as I need it and have been out, they hung up again saying until I can get it cleared by insurance again for the x4 they want to make sure I Do not take anymore then the 2 and have to follow bottle as I say this is really getting strict, and it is not MY DR directly doing this, Sharon <jaimeislove@ <mailto:jaimeislove%40yahoo.com> yahoo.com> wrote: I have at times been made to feel that I am just a junkie looking for pain pills. I found that I got that feeling when at the ER more than anywhere else. I finally got to the point that I would not take my pain meds unless I was in excruciating pain that way when the doctor would ask if that's what I wanted I could say " No I still have some left over from my last prescription. " Thank goodness my PCP is not this way. She is a wonderful woman who spends as much time as needed with me when I go see her. I've even been in her office for an hour trying to figure things out. She knows FMS is not in anyone's head. Hope this helps. --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search.
