I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen for 3 yrs. and then was hit with a terrible bladder flare that did not let up until I stopped the pill. I was diagnosed with IC...but in all honesty, the hormones are the biggest factor in IC for me. The synthetic progestin activity of this particular bc pill is high. I just don't do well with the synthetic progestins. Go with your gut instinct and I encourage you to learn as much as you can about hormones...that has really helped me. I hope things go well with the new specialist you will see soon, but regardless of what he/she says, don't give up!!! ~Chelle
