Guest guest
Oh, mine were also compounded with boric acid to fight yeast. To: vulvardisorders From: caterpillar7@...Date: Tue, 6 Nov 2007 16:41:43 -0500Subject: RE: Re: Valium Supoositories ?'s Hello, I had very good results with these suppositories, pain-wise. the only problem I had was that when they 'melted' they made me itchy. So, I made sure to insert right before going to bed, and kept a washcloth by my side to wipe away any of the valium that leaked out. They did help my pain for the time I was using them, and loosened me up, big time.nicoleTo: VulvarDisorders From: elliottmag (AT) yahoo (DOT) comDate: Tue, 6 Nov 2007 13:11:36 -0800Subject: Re: Re: Valium Supoositories ?'s I'm not sure if I've said so already, but thanks so much to those of you who responded about your experience with the Valium Suppositories....Hugs, ChelleKathy <kathyms3150 (AT) yahoo (DOT) com> wrote: Chelle, My doctor prescribed Valium suppositories for me. The dosage is 10 mg, and the directions are to use one vaginally at bedtime for 30 days, then use 2 times a week. It doesn't say what they're compounded in though. She prescribed them because she said the muscles in my vagina are very tense. I'm prone to yeast so honestly I haven't been using them consistently. I'm not sure how much they would help if I did use them every night. She said I would have to use them at least 30 days to see. I think when I did use them, my vagina was a little more relaxed, but I'm afraid to use them too often because if I get a yeast infection, I'm not sure if it's the valium suppositories that are causing it. Guest guest
I keep reading posts about valium suppositories, how its working for some women and how some are compunded w/boric acid to fight yeast. To the women who are using them, would this work for someone who has only "contact pain" like myself? Or is this treatment for women who are constantly in pain, burning and itching. I only start to itch when I have an infection, like a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis for example. Thanx for the help! ~~ Re: Re: Valium Supoositories ?'s I'm not sure if I've said so already, but thanks so much to those of you who responded about your experience with the Valium Suppositories....Hugs, Chelle Kathy <kathyms3150 (AT) yahoo (DOT) com> wrote: Chelle, My doctor prescribed Valium suppositories for me. Guest guest
It worked for me during the time I took it- I have pain on contact, and some spontaneous pain, not all the time. It started out as just pain on contact and got a bit worse over the years. Anyway, I think that the suppositories are probably good for anyone who has pain due to tightness or nerve damage. Valium is a benzodiazopine that basically works on the nervous system to chemically relax it. From what I understand, valium is more effective for vulvodynia when taken as suppository rather than orally because it gets directly absorbed into the tissue. I had no other side effect with it other than a good night's sleep. To: VulvarDisorders From: caliprincess2369@...Date: Tue, 6 Nov 2007 19:06:29 -0500Subject: Re: Re: Valium Supoositories ?'s I keep reading posts about valium suppositories, how its working for some women and how some are compunded w/boric acid to fight yeast.
