Guest guest
, The pump is hardly ever as efficient as your baby is at getting your milk out. That said, pumping takes time to develop an affinity with the machine--you've been spending time with your dd doing that since she was born. Wendi (list moderator) recommends tinctures for increasing milk supply, but Mother's Milk Tea, fenugrek, blessed thistle, brewer's yeast are other things. Where ever that you pump at, make it a " cozy " environment, to promote your ability to maximize your pumping. For pumping to increase freezer supply at home, or supply in general, try pumping while nursing--since your dd only nurses one side per feeding--this will give your body additional stimulation (as though nursing twins).
