Guest guest
Ken is doing pretty well. He has been “passé” from day one, but things totally changed after he got that call from the tx surgeon. He even asked me to buy an organ donor shirt for him – and he wears it! Thanks to the camera we got him for his Bday, he now wants to document his transplant and he actually checks the OPTN site to see where he is on the list. He’s scheduled for an ultra sound this month, so we’ll see how he is doing. He has gained a lot of weight and that worries me some, but I figure he’ll lose it at some point. Went from 175 to 205 and the last time we saw his GI (6 months ago) he said he didn’t think it was water. So I’m guessing he’s depressed and eating. He started taking walks, so I hoping that will help. Thanks for asking. Barb in Texas - Together in the Fight, Whatever it Takes!
