I know what kinds and types of food has fiber, but where do I get a list that tells me how many grams of fiber are in each type of food I eat? seems like all the experts disagree on exactly how many grams of fiber we need to eat a day. I've heard any where from 15 to 45 and all between. once a teacher in school told us that the longer it took you to chew it up, then that food had lots of fi ber in it. she said this was the best way to eat right because eating was work when it took you a long time to chew your food up, so you got tired when eating. this way you only done it when you had to so you wouldn't die from lack of energy. we kids thought the lady had a few screws loose and needed to retire. maybe she did have the right clues way back then and we should have paid more attention?
