Hi I have been mess about for nearly two years now I live in UK and things are different hear. I have had several incorrect diagnosis so far. My Dr has said the same to me that he suppects small duct PSC. I have had many tests Including an MRCP which was normal like your son. My Liver Biopsy showed inflammation but nothing specific. Tests which have showed something are ALT which is always high, Bilurubin which goes up and down GAMMA GT which is raised and something about a P ANCA antibody. I have lots of infections and get jaundice and am constantly in pain. I get really fed up because I do not get any straight answer. There do not seem to be as many which small duct PSC so less info around. My doctor has put me on URSO as well. I do hope we both get some answers so, if find anything out I will let you know. Its not so bad for me as I am 46 and my kids are grown up but you most be very worried. best wishes

PSC. My 6 yr old had an MRCP last month and the dr is telling us he may have small duct PSC. His liver biopsy was abnormal, but the MRCP showed no abnormalities in his biliary tree. He still put him on Urso. I have read a few articles that indicate many people diagnosed with small duct PSC may not progress to PSC
