After six years of spreading my legs in far too many doctor's offices, nothing bothers me anymore. The first couple of years, I didn't tell anybody but my closest friends ... now I am an open book.

I am involved in a number of school activities, and everyone is used to me saying I can't attend this or that because I have to spend the day in Detroit with my beloved Dr. Sobel. When someone asks me what is the matter, I explain the IC, LS, LP and VV. Generally, I find about 90% of the people I talk to are more embarrassed about the topic of conversation than I am.
