Guest guest
Chelle, When the article that came out in the Chicago Sun Times in 1999 shortly after the episode of Oprah where vulvodynia was mentioned (I will address that issue in another e-mail) and the show Sex and the City (now cancelled but airs in re-runs on channels such as TBS) they talked about the issue of biofeedback and also talked some about PT. The issue of PT is not a new concept to the treatment of vulvodynia for those that have pelvic floor issues. I first heard about PT for that area about a year after I joined this list (yep, long before the word got out on the show in Feb 1999). I joined this list in 1998. As for the NYT article, it was just perfect for an article to give people the basics about what vulvodynia is and then to do a follow-up article on the different ways to treat vulvodynia which would include PT. So I do hope that a follow-up article will be forth coming to make people aware. Kristy ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Never miss a thing.
