Guest guest
JEEPERS!! Where is this coming from. Holding bowel movements for a day, or even and hour with UC? Holding in long enough to get to a bathroom was the best I could do.See what's free at AOL.com.
Guest guest
I usually respond to surveys, but I'm afraid I'm not sure I understand what you're asking with this survey. Those of us that have contracted PSC subsequent to years of UC most likely don't have any options about " holding in our bowel movements. " I was advised 15 years ago after my j-pouch surgery to attempt to wait as long as possible between emptying my pouch in order to " increase its capacity " . Easier said than done. On a good day, I may only move my bowels five times. I've learned that I need to keep my pouch emptied on a regular basis, even if I don't feel a need to do so, in order to avoid severe cramping and/or infection. I use mesalamine enemas during bouts of pouchitis. It's ver effective. Debbie in Seattle PSC suspected 1999; confirmed 2005 > > > Enter your vote today! Guest guest
-----Original Message----- Has anyone who has PSC ever taken Acutane (medication for acne) in their life? JMHO – it would be nice if we were able to see who the person is that is taking the poll (any poll). Also, I noticed this time (maybe it’s happened before & I just didn’t notice it) that when people responded to the poll, it listed our e-mail addresses. This time it may not matter to anyone, but sometimes the poll questions are such that others may not want their follow PSCer’s to know if they were voting.
