Guest guest
, I hope you & Michele have the most amazing time together, & you’re able to not just boost her morale (I’ve no doubt this will happen!), not just help her regain her inner willingness to fight (hey, like our motto says, whatever it takes), but find peace at whatever may lie ahead. You’re so right, a true sense of inner peace (acceptance) is so preferable to mere resignation. Bless her fiancé for recognizing the benefits of getting you 2 women together, & springing for your round-trip ticket. As you & I have already discussed, should you & Michele be up for it, Jim & I are only 5 hours away from where you’ll be, & we have 2 empty guest rooms. You have our house & cell numbers… if you’re up for it, call me! You’ll all be in our prayers. Love, Maureen ( & Jim)
Guest guest
Maureen, Thanks for the note. Michele and I are having a good time and we have such an understanding of one another -- funny how mutual cirrhosis will do that, huh?! :-) We did discuss going to see you and had decided we would make the trip, however, there's been a damper on our plans so we won't be coming after all. As far as Michele's fiance...that's a whole other story. I think it would be best for her to dump those plans and come back to Missosuri and develop a support group there. I have talked her into applying for disability (and Medicare) because she has no income and no insurance. Obviously, she's going to run out of funds soon. This isn't a good place for her to be in. I must run Shell needs the computer. I will talk to you again when I get back home. Hugs to you fine lady, Mel MO - RE: gone a spell , I hope you & Michele have the most amazing time together, & you’re able to not just boost her morale (I’ve no doubt this will happen!), not just help her regain her inner willingness to fight (hey, like our motto says, whatever it takes), but find peace at whatever may lie ahead.
