Guest guest
Yep, I am going to call Monday and get scheduled for an overdue colonoscopy. This is just nuts! Thanks for the advice. /Mi Re: that dreaded D word...dare is say it??? Diarrhea..... I do know that alot of us have irritable bowel syndrome. This will cause diarhhea. However, please get checked by a doctor because it can be other things. That is the problem with this illness, it has so many symptoms that sometimes we could have something else wrong with us and not know it. Hell, if I got pain from some kind of cancer, I might just think it was fibro and let it go. Just be careful. If the diarrhea continues, please please seek some medical attention to be sure it is not something really life threatening. And of course having diarrhea all the time can be dangerous in itself. Loss of fluids and electrolytes are nothing to play with. I would suggest that you be sure to drink plenty of fluids and even maybe add in some gatorade or something with electrolytes in it... (potassium, sodium, etc). Take care, hugs, Debra V. uniceander wrote: Yep, is this a thing for fibro folks??? It doesn't seem to matter what I eat....you know the rest. THis is a continuing problem and a not very good one...maybe I'll lose some weight though...... Thanks ahead for any input. /MI --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Guest guest
Hi Debbie, It doesn't seem to matter what I eat...sometimes I don't eat anything!! Thanks for the post! /Mi Re: that dreaded D word...dare is say it??? Diarrhea..... > > Yep, is this a thing for fibro folks??? Try and pay attention to what you eat. Are you symtoms worse after eating milk products or wheat? Lactose intolerance is a problem with milk and is also common for us. Celiac disease is a problem with wheat and needs special testing to confirm it. take care, Debbie L
