Bruce,

Interesting poll. I take about the same amount of OTC scripts as I do scripts. My OTC scripts include: Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Multi-Vitamin, Clorotirmeton Muscinex-D, Flaxseed Oil, Zinc, and NAC, of course. I once went to a natureropath and he recommended that I take Flaxseed Oil and Vitamin D.

Toodles!

Well, I take 10 medications right now and no two are for the same

condition and none are for PF. I just think its interesting to see the

ranges of us all in number of doctors and number of meds. It reiterates

how different we are and I think ultimately why whats right for one of

us isn't for the other. I think of taking 10 meds and think thats too

many. Then I look at the list and realize what each does and that it

does target something specific that would bother me without it. Most of

mine are geared toward keeping myself as healthy as I can outside of the

PF so the other conditions aren't impacting me. Doctors are much the

same, although a couple are still exploring the unknown, most of them

are taking care of other known issues. It's like Nephrologist has to

monitor kidneys but I've been fairly stable. ENT has to check ears and

do a little scope through mouth annually to make sure no recurrence of

condition that led to surgery 11 years ago and does often return.

Opthalmologist is only annual and critical due to the extreme

nearsightedness and the risks of other things that might come with it. I

don't take any meds that I feel " oh I'd sure like to get off that. " Its

like one I take for hypothyroidism, well, I've been on same dosage at

least 4 years and been in range since I started it and no known side

effects.
