I used it about two years ago, they could have changed the design. You could always try one and if you don't like it don't use it again.

I used one long ago when they first became available. It was made of rubber and

I just looked it up and noticed that it is also available in plastic for those

who are allergic to latex. I didn't like it.

Also I have used a diaphragm (pessary) for contraception and sometimes used it

for the same purpose as the Cup when my flow was light. I liked it better than

the Cup because it was more flexible and more comfortable.

I don't recall that either were irritating.
