Guest guest
Christy I used to take Lantus split in the morning and evenings, until I switched to the Cozmo pump. When I took all the Lantus in the am my daytime glucose readings were always low and my pre-breakfast readings were high. After I switched all seemed to level out. I was on Lantus for 4 years with out any side effects or problems. Type 1 03/78 Pumper 11/05 A1C prepump 5.5 A1C postpump 5.
Guest guest
Hi, My boyfriend was just switched to Lantus, and Novolog. He was told to take 25 units of Lantus at bedtime. Well he started taking it twice a day, because it was not working very well just at night. Would he split that 25 units? Are ya'll taking a similar amount? I only ask because he has been running with very high blood sugar for a long time and I a not sugar if the doctor is trying to wean him slowly down? I only ask cause he is fiddling with the amount and I am concerned about him taking too much. Course he may be doing it just right? I was looking for others experience. Last night he went very low, so I am worried. Thanks I used to take Lantus split in the morning and evenings, until I switched to the Cozmo pump.
