Guest guest
-----Original Message----- I am just scared to death that I will end up with a cholangitis attack and not be able to get my breast surgery next Thursday. This has happened in the past after ERCP's. I’m so sorry to hear this latest news. Why not call your GI doctor, explain things to him, and ask to be put on Cipro now. A few days worth, ahead of time, might be a good insurance policy against getting sick after the ERCP. Please keep in touch and let us know how things are going. Guest guest
Dear I have had a lot of contact with breast cancer survivors, they tend to band together as mother's at school, and have taken me under their wing as a lymphoma survivor. All I can say is that I feel so much for you, having to go through all this with the breast surgery as well. Stay positive, and don't be surprised at the fatigue increase. Stress itself will exhaust you, and although you may think you are sleeping well enough (or not sleeping at all which I can relate to), it may not be restful sleep, so you will wake as tired as ever. Just take one step at a time, one day at a time or even one hour at a time, and get lots of hugs from Jeff and Zach. They are your lifeline to normality, whatever that is for all of us. I can't help much with any relationship between the two health issues, just be as strong as you need to be, and cry a whole heap in between. If you do it in the shower it saves tissues and you can pretend you got shampoo in your eyes. Sending big hugs to you, Penny T (in Brisbane)
Guest guest
So very sorry to about this diagnosis. I've actually thought about the possibility of getting breast cancer on top of PSC & AIH. It almost seems too cruel to be true. But thankfully it sounds like it was caught early, and hopefully you'll do very well. As to your question: Does anyone know how long after a diagnosis of cancer I can be reactivated on the list? Wish I could help with that question, but I don't know the answer. You should talk to the transplant coordinator, I would think, or your doctor. -Marie _________________________________________________________________ Make every IM count.
