Yes, false alarms certainly give you a wake up call and let you know

if you're really prepared. Sometimes the next call comes quickly and

sometimes it seems like another long wait. My wife said she wasn't

ready for my transplant when a false alarm turned me back just before

entering the OR. By the time the next call came 3 months later we we

both ready for it.
