Guest guest
Dear , Congratulations on your husband being listed at UPMC. You are in the BEST of hands. I just had my tx there on October 17th. My son, Simon, was my live donor. We did not have to go looking for a live donor so I can't speak to that. He was the only one in my immediate family who was my blood type. We had argued about it for 3 years and finally this last year I started going downhill and so I had to stop arguing. I was extremely lucky. My biggest problem, among many, before surgery was ascities. Gosh, I was huge by the time they did me. Our surgeries went great, no problems. Who are your doctors? Mine is Dr. Marcos and Dr. Starzl. I also see Dr. Tom and Dr. . Who are your coordinators? I really love them all. Is your husband in the hospital or are you at the Family House? Please let me know if I can give you any info, just ask.
