Guest guest
Hi, ladies, This is not directly related to V stuff, but I wanted to update anyone who was interested on the results of my laparoscopy and cystoscopy yesterday. The doctors did not find endometriosis or IC. They DID find four other things that seemed to baffle them: 1. two red spots ("plants") on my right ovary--she took them off and biopsied them, though she did not think they were malignant 2. significant constipation--I'm to see a GI doctor right away 3. adhesions growing up my intestines (again, she doesn't know why--my c-section areas looked great, but intestines are supposed to be free-floating) 4. blood pooling in my abdominal/pelvic cavity (I think this might be blood flow from my periods that somehow flows backward through my fallopian tubes and into my body)--but she couldn't tell where it was coming from I go for my followup next Thursday. What questions should I ask? Does anyone know how to keep these things from happening again (like the adhesions and blood pooling)? BTW, thank you for your good thoughts and prayers. I'm still recovering from surgery, but the healing seems to have been much quicker than expected. Yesterday was complete misery, but today I've done surprisingly well! Becky Never miss a thing.
