Guest guest
It should be to everyone because sometimes it can be the patient that is willing to initiate the conversation and make the doctor aware of the issue. As for the phrase, " It's all in your head " , there are two definitions to that phrase and I have since decided (because of learning that) that if a doctor says that phrase to me I'm going to ask which definition they mean. Our brain lets us know that we hurt when it gets the signals from the nerves. So yes, in that sense the pain is in our head. There was a program on Discovery just recently about the Human body and talking about different areas such as the nervous system. They were doing it from the point of how we push our body to the limit. It gave a very easy to understand break down of just what happens to our body when it comes to pain. It ties in with information that backs up the definition I gave (which is the correct one for us) for " It's All in your Head " . Guest guest
I think it needs to be sufferers. And there are an awful lot of sufferers at home on the couch, unfortunately. If enough sufferers are educated, the doctors will have no choice. The doctors already have much info at hand. Dr. Weiss' and Prendergast' wonderful article "Screening for Musculoskeletal Componants of Pelvic Pain" was in the Journal of Urology for pete's sake. I know none of MY doctors bothered to read it. love, Molly Re: Media and other talk shows PSS Just who are we trying to get the word out too should be the first question everyone should ask?Housewives? Doctors? Scientist? People that could fund it?This is the marketing degree in me coming out..ha ha Who is our target audience? I don't think we can say everyone. Unfortunately, not everyone cares. I think it should be doctors. Because they are the ones that ususally say you have Vuvo what? OR it is in your HEAD. Blueeberri Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home.
